“Really happy with this distinction, but the most important thing is that we have put in a great performance. The team clinched three very important points against a very tough opponent”, said the number 21, in a statement to BTV.
“It was a very important win for us. We controlled the match since the first minute, we played against a team that has players with huge quality and has been displaying a good football, a positive football, and I think that it was a fair win. Since the first minute that with tried to score goals and make the difference and that was what happened. We scored an early goal and then the match ended up being controlled by us”, he claimed.
Living a good moment, the team coached by Rui Vitória won the seven matches it had in the busy December calendar.
“We are recovering. We are doing thing very well. We are in the back of several consecutive wins and what we wanted to show here today, in front of our fans, that we have a team with a lot of quality, with great players and we showed that since the first moment.
