The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has determined that qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games - scheduled to be held from 23 July to 8 August 2021 - will take place until 29 June 2021.
The International Federations (IF) are free to define their own deadlines for qualification, provided they do not exceed the day set by the IOC, which has also determined that the deadline for registration of athletes participating in the Olympic Games will be 5 July 2021.
