Gonçalo Ramos, a forward from the professional football squad, renewed his contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2025 and now has a buy-out clause of 120 million euros.
"It is a great pride to feel this bet on me by the Club. Now I must continue the work done so far, always giving my best and giving everything for the Club", claimed the eagles' no. 88 jersey after penning the contract, in exclusive statements with BTV.
Being able to represent SL Benfica at the highest level is something simply unique, and difficult to describe.
"It's a little boy's dream, just like my brother, who came here with me today to sign the contract. He looks at these facilities and the magnitude of the Club and says he wants to be here in a few years, which was what I thought at his age and now it's a dream come true", confessed Gonçalo Ramos.
"They can expect A lot of commitment, a lot of work, a few goals, I hope, and from now on we will see how it goes. I want to thank my parents, my grandparents and my brother, who are the people who support me the most", stressed the player.
