Rodrigo Pinho began his career at Bangu, a Rio de Janeiro club, where he played between 2010 and 2014. In the meantime, in 2013 he was loaned to Cabofriense, a team that allowed him to win his first title: 2nd Division Carioca Championship.
While still linked to Bangu, he played for Madureira, a club for which he reached the final of the 2014 Rio Cup. The performances were positive and Madureira made his loan permanent. It is with Rodrigo Pinho in the squad that the team from the state of Rio de Janeiro won the Rio Cup in 2015.
In 2015/16, he started his adventure in Portugal. Signed by SC Braga, he played for the two teams of the “minhotos” – first and B team– and he helped the club reach the League Cup final in 2016/17. He was loaned out to Nacional before being signed by another emblem from Madeira: Marítimo.
At Marítimo, he confirmed the attributes he showed in Brazil. He scored 39 goals in 118 matches, and in 2020/21, he had the best season of his career with 15 goals in 21 matches.
