She has represented Brazilian clubs such as CESMAC, União Desportiva, Centro Olímpico and Corinthians, and the Spanish club Madrid CFF, where she was before joining Benfica.
The forward, who won the U-20 South American title in here first call-up to the Brazilian national team, does not hide the joy of playing for Benfica.
“I had no doubts when I received Benfica's proposition because it is a big club. They presented me a very good project, very ambitious and I know I am going to work with a coach that will take the best out of every player, and that also affected my choice”, said Geyse, in statements to BTV.
As for goals, the most recent signing from the women's football team leaves no doubts: “I want to evolve in every training session and in every match to be able to achieve the objectives and give many joys to the Benfica supporters. I hope they always support us in every match, regardless of the stadium we play at.”
The young forward, who has as inspiration the Brazilian player Marta, promises a lot of work and dedication to all the Benfiquistas.
“I am eager to show my value and help the team achieve all the goals. I will join the team to win all the competitions. I hope to arrives at Benfica, do my job and be happy. To the fans, I promise a lot of work and dedication to honor this jersey”, she stressed.
Focus, work and pride for the jersey she wear are the characteristics with which Geyse defines herself. “I am a calm person, very focused on the work I have to do, both on and off the pitch. I am a fast player, I always play with heart to defend the crest I carry on my chest”, said Geyse.
