It has started! Sport Lisboa e Benfica has started the works of the 2018/19 this Thursday morning. At 9:00 am it was given the kick-off to a season in which the goal is clear: regain all the titles!

The players gradually started to arrive at Estádio da Luz, being that there are taking place the usual medicals, divided between the Cathedral and the Hospital da Luz.

In the afternoon… the most anticipated moment! At 5:00 pm the ball will roll, with the coach Rui Vitória leading the first training session of 2018/19, at Estádio da Luz. This training session will be behind closed doors.

On July 9th, it will begin the training camp in Troia.  After playing two friendly matches, against Napredak (July 10) and Vitória de Setúbal (July 13), both at Estádio do Bonfim, the Reds travel to England to continue the preparation at St. George's Park.

On July 21st, Benfica will begin its participation in the International Champions Cup, facing Sevilla, in Zurich (Switzerland). In the following day, the team flies to the United States to play the other two matches in this prestigious preseason competition – (Borussia Dortmund, in Pittsburg (July 25); and Juventus, in New York (July 28) – returning afterward to Lisbon.
