On September 22nd, one week ago, it was introduced the new Center of High Performance of Benfica – the Cidade das Modalidades (City of Other Sports) –, to be built in a soil with a total of nine hectares, in the north of Carnaxide, Oeiras county.
The site pre-model of the project includes an athletics track, a rugby field, an indoor race track, a 25m swimming pool with eight lanes, a pavilion, a football field, a covered stand with 1500 seats plus dressing rooms, rugby training fields and car parking for 540 cars.
