Cervi was a starter on the 1-4 victory against PAOK, at Toumba Stadium, in the 2nd leg of the Champions League play-off and praised the group for its capacity in an adverse environment.
“They scored right away. We managed to turn things around with personality. I’m happy for the group and for the result”, he declared.
The Toumba Stadium was completely sold out (28701 spectators) ...
“It’s good to play with this kind of atmosphere. The important is the team and the work done, now we got to move on”, said Cervi.
“Our goal was the qualification for the Champions League. Now that we are in we have to enjoy, wait for the group and give everything. Benfica deserves it”, considered.
