Rúben Dias was clearly happy with the result and with the “attitude and resilience” of the reds after the final whistle in the "clássico" (1-0). “A Benfica style performance”, considered the Portuguese international. 

“We are here to go until the end and today, more than ever, that was proven. What we did on the pitch, the attitude, the resilience, all the plays we fought… At the end, I even told André [Almeida] that with this spirit, with this determination, with this will and with the support of all, it will be difficult to stop us. We are here to go until the end, to reconquer our title. We will go until the end with everything we got”, guaranteed the young centre-back.

“It was a Benfica style performance. It was a great performance from these professionals who are here working every day. To be able to respond with this energy and strength until the end, even playing with one man down, it is the proof of what we are made from. We are here to succeed”, he stressed.

Estoril-Benfica: extended highlights (1-2)

What a great atmosphere in Amoreira, it's the Red Wave! Visiting the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota for the 32nd and antepenultimate matchday of the Liga Betclic, Benfica imposed themselves and won 1-2. The Eagles' goals on Saturday night, May 3, were scored by Aursnes and Otamendi.

Aursnes (7') and Otamendi (36') scored the goals for Glorioso. Determined display, goal achieved in the fight for the title.

It's beautiful... it's Benfica! The bus carrying SL Benfica's delegation arrived at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota and it was breathtaking! Despite the adverse weather conditions (rain, cold and wind!), hundreds of Benfiquistas welcomed the arrival of the Glorioso. The heart tirelessly supporting the lung... Watch and listen!

The celebration of the five-time champions at Benfica Campus!

Before and after the match from matchday 21 of the Liga BPI, against Clube de Albergaria (5-0), the women's football team of Benfica was showered with crowds while celebrating their 5th league in a row. The afternoon began with an autograph session attended by hundreds of fans and, at the end of the game, there was time to lift the trophy and take it to the central stand of Benfica Campus Field No. 1, in a celebration in total communion with the fans.
