“I think it was a great match, very competitive. We faced a team that likes to have ball possession, who has skillful players. I think that our team played well since the first moment, we had opportunities to score the 0-1. Unfortunately, we didn't score, and we remain with a bitter taste due to the goal conceded in the end. We fought and worked a lot”, he analyzed.
“We enter the match very focused, we knew what we wanted. We were very cohesive offensive and defensively and very strong. It was a shame this goal in the dying moments because we didn't deserve it for all we did”, said the number 21.
In matchday 4 of Group, it is Ajax's turn to travel to Estádio da Luz. Playing at home, and with the supporters behind Benfica, the three points must stay in the Cathedral.
“In the Champions League, there are no easy games. We will face Ajax again and what we want is to win to make a statement. We leave this ground with a result that, in my opinion, is unfair, bus in the next match at home, in front of our fans, we will do everything to achieve a victory and relaunch the group's match”, guaranteed Pizzi.
