Everton

A Brazil international, Everton excelled at Grémio before signing a contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica in the 2020/21 season.

Between 2009 and 2013, Everton represented Fortaleza, the club where he dreamed of becoming a football professional. By the age of 17, the midfielder/winger was already shining at that club. Everton made an impact over four thousand kilometers away, and Grémio signed him on a loan deal in 2013. He turned the loan into a permanent deal in 2014.

Everton’s Grémio debut took place on January 19, 2014. At 18, he played 14 games and scored two goals. From 2015 on, he established himself as an unquestionable starter.

He joined Benfica at the age of 24. A Brazil international, Everton had 14 caps, three goals, and one Copa América under his belt, won in 2019, at the time of signing the contract with the eagles.

On September 8, 2018, Brazil’s national coach, Tite, handed Everton his first cap against the United States.
