Carlos Vinícius

He started playing football in Brazil, but it was in Europe that he stood out. He arrived at Estádio da Luz after spells a Real SC, Napoli, Rio Ave, and Monaco.

Born on March 25, 1995, he carried out his formative years at Santos and Palmeiras and began his career as a professional footballer in 2016 at a Brazilian club called Caldense. He had a spell at Grémio Anapólis before coming to Europa to play at Real SC.

He scored 20 goals in 39 matches at the club from Massamá and he scored a hat-trick in his first game in the 2nd Tier, against Leixões. His displays led Napoli to sign and loan him out to Rio Ave to play in the Liga NOS. He stood out and up to January – when he moved to Monaco – he scored 14 goals in 20 games.

At the start of the 2019/20 season, he signed for Benfica until 2024.
