A product of Caixa Futebol Campus, the centre-back Rúben Dias is already a pivotal player at Benfica. He took part in the U-20 and in the Senior World Cup and he is an international for Portugal’s senior national team.

During the 2017/18 season, Rúben Dias established himself as one of the regulars in the center of Benfica’s defense, finishing the season with 30 appearances. He also showed his ability to score goals racking up four goals. His good performances promoted him to a senior international and earned him the call-up for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
