Penultimate test before the comeback

At Benfica Campus the players and staff of the red squad were, this Monday, subjected to new tests to covid-19. It was the first of two screening tests in the days before the returning to the Liga NOS, scheduled for June 4, at 7:15 pm, against Tondela, at Estádio da Luz. See gallery HERE.

Back to work

SL Benfica's professional football team returned to action at Seixal on Monday (4 May). The day at Benfica Campus began with blood tests and continued on the pitch, in Fields No. 7 and No. 8, where the rule of distance was fully respected. The retrurn to competitive action is chedule for the weekend of May 30 and 31.

Glorious memories| Karagounis

After stepping onto the pitch of Estádio da Luz and wearing an eagles on his chest during two seasons, Karagounis, a former Benfica midfielder, recalled “the draw against FC Porto at Estádio da Luz in 2006/07” as his best game and the “goal against Desportivo das Aves in round 5 of the Championship in 2006/07” as his best strike representing the Club.

Seferovic's message of hope

The Foster Home Instituto Luiza Paiva de Andrada (ILPA) is responsible for 11 children and young people between the ages of 4 and 22. Carlos José Dias Costa is 85 years old and lives in Porto. One day, after hearing Bruno Lage in a post-match press conference, he was moved and decided to send a letter to the Benfica coach. In addition to being a member of Benfica, Dias Costa is a BTV subscriber and has a profound knowledge of the work of the Benfica Foundation. He buys the O Benfica newspaper every Friday. Unfortunately, he can no longer read. He has a glaucoma, which limits his vision, and so he asks his wife (Mrs. Lucília) to read him the newspaper from the first to the last page. His father was once Benfica's treasurer and he was friends with... Cosme Damião. A conversation with the Benfica coach had been scheduled for a long time. The time has come.
