allow the triennial mandate conclusion.
Vice-president during João Santos’s second mandate, with a decisive financial support, got his management
interrupted: a mandate supposed to end in mid-1995, has come to an end with the election anticipation. By
the end of 1993, in Assembly, he quit due to last summer financial problems. He offered several and relevant
efforts, just like the anonymous donation of the athletics track (1974), the financial support for buying
footballers and the eclecticism bet. The football team won the Portuguese Cup (1993). He was “Águia de Ouro”
