The tour is free, however a guided tour can be booked (prices under request).
On match days at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa and Benfica, the schedule may change.
Closed on the 1st January and 25th December.

Support Services
Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião offers a personalized support service to all visitors.
Our assistants are graduated in History, Communication and Tourism and have a vast knowledge about the permanent exhibition. They are available to answer all questions or doubts, give any information requested or make suggestions for a more enjoyable visit.
Accessibility
The Museum is accessible to disabled visitors. The visit route includes accessible bathrooms, handrails, ramps and elevators.
Wheelchairs are available in the reception counter, to use during the visit.
COVID-19 preventive security measures
Mandatory mask-wearing inside the premises.
Reduced number of visitors allowed at the same time on the premises.
An alcohol-based antiseptic solution will be available in the hand-cleaning space.
To keep everyone safe we fully recommend the 2-metre safety distance, the movement along the designated routes, and the maximum capacity of the marked spaces, to be respected by everyone.
Free visits maintaining the safety distance between visitors and/or single-family groups.
Guided tours limited to 5 people or single-family groups. Advance booking is required.
As an alternative to the touch screens, temporarily unavailable, use your smartphone or tablet to scan the QR codes and have access to additional information.
Rules and Regulation
The Museum has a capacity for 497 people. To ensure all visitors safety, the access control system and the assistants will supervise the entrance, in order to avoid overcrowding. Please be patient and wait your turn.
For your security all the Museum’s areas are under surveillance and equipped with security cameras.
It’s not allowed to consume food and drink inside the Museum, except in designated areas.)
It’s not permitted to take pictures with flash bulbs or flash units. The photographs taken inside the Museum can only be used for non-commercial purposes.
Avoid talking on your mobile phone during your visit.
You’re not permitted to bring balloons, skates, bicycles or other personal items that may cause disturbance to other visitors inside the Museum
Assistants/security staff may restrain individuals to enter the Museum to maintain the order, safety and wellbeing of visitors.
Children under 10 years old have to be accompanied by their parents or tutor.
It’s not allowed to bring animals to the Museum, with the exception of guide dogs assisting a disabled visitor.
In the interest of safety and security we reserve the right to have unattended property removed and/or destroyed.
