THE RETURN

High and extremely dynamic pace! That's how the first training session of Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional Football team under Bruno Lage took place this Friday, September 6, at the Benfica Campus.

Very active, boosting the intensity of the processes with a constant request for "high pace", Bruno Lage had six players from the squad present at the training session, namely Florentino, Renato Sanches, Rollheiser, Prestianni, Schjelderup and Arthur Cabral.

Injured are André Gomes, Tomás Araújo, Beste, Aursnes and Tiago Gouveia.

With 14 players with the national teams, and Di María in Argentina for a tribute farewell, Bruno Lage called up the following 12 players from the B team: Pedro Souza and Ricardo Ribeiro – goalkeepers; Diogo Spencer, Francisco Domingues, Gustavo Marques and Lenny Lacroix – defenders; Diogo Prioste, Hugo Félix, Nuno Félix and Paul Okon – midfielders; Gerson Sousa – winger; and José Melro – forward.
