Triumph for Dedic

In a moment of grief, Dedic showed enormous professionalism. Considered a second mother, the grandmother of the Benfica right-back passed away on the eve of Ajax-Benfica. The player decided to play (he played the entire game) and did not attend the funeral on Tuesday, November 25, the day of the Champions League match. At a very difficult time for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international, his teammates were informed of the situation by the general manager for professional football, Mário Branco. Upon learning what had happened, the team dedicated their victory (0-2) to Dedic, who was comforted by everyone in the dressing room.
