BENFICA'S TRAINING SESSION 

Sport Lisboa e Benfica carried out, this Friday morning, at the Estádio do GD Peniche, o the last practice before the final of the Portuguese Cup, against FC Porto. The training session was open to the press in the first 15 minutes.

The coach Nélson Veríssimo, who relied on 27 players in the mini training camp for this Saturday's match at 8:45 pm, at the Estádio Cidade de Coimbra, began the working session with a lecture.

This was followed by muscle activation exercises with the ball, namely the usual rondo.  The presence of Taarabt, a player who has been in the clinical report for the last few weeks, is worth mentioning.

At the Estádio da Luz, Benfica battled for victory until the last second against Sporting in the 33rd and penultimate matchday of the Liga Betclic 2024/25,but ended up having to share the points (1-1). Aktürkoğlu scored the goal for the eagles, finishing off a brilliant play by Pavlidis. The title will be decided in the final round.
