HIGHLIGHTS

Still in Turkey, the professional football team of Benfica started this Thursday, August 21, the preparation for the match against Tondela, from Matchday 3 of the Liga Betclic, scheduled for 8:30 pm. on Saturday, August 23, at Estádio da Luz..

Hours after the 0-0 draw against Fenerbahçe in the first leg of the Champions League play-off, the team carried out their plan at the Besiktas training center. Only the unused players and substitutes who played in the Istanbul match took to the pitch. The remaining athletes underwent active recovery work in the gym.

The flight back to Portugal was scheduled for later this afternoon, with the delegation arriving in Lisbon at night. On Friday morning, August 22, a new training session is scheduled at the Benfica Campus, where coach Bruno Lage will attend the press conference ahead of Benfica-Tondela, starting at 1:30 pm.

On Turkish soil, the morning after the Champions League play-off match against Fenerbahçe at the Sükrü Saraçoğlu Stadium, Benfica's professional football team put to work at the Besiktas training center facilities, already preparing for the match against Tondela, from Matchday 3 of the Liga Betclic,  scheduled for 8:30 pm, on Saturday at Estádio da Luz.
