TRAINING OF BENFICA

Hours after the victory in Vila das Aves (0-3) against AFS and returning to Lisbon, the SL Benfica team returned to work at Benfica Campus with a recovery training session for the starters. With no time to waste, the focus is already on hosting Rio Ave.

The Eagles' return to the Cathedral for the postponed game from Matchday 1 of the Liga Betclic,  is scheduled for 8:15 pm on Tuesday, September 23.

Due to scheduling issues, Lukebakio (who is already training with the team) and Sudakov will not be able to contribute to the team, as they were not registered on the initial date of the game, which was postponed due to Benfica's participation in the Champions League qualifying round.

At Benfica Campus, ambition, rigor, and intensity reigned supreme.
