After Wednesday's 0-2 win against Southampton, in the first training match of the 2023/24 pre-season, Benfica returned to work this Thursday morning, July 13. Under the watchful eye of President Rui Costa, Di María and Jurásek trained on the pitch at Saint George's Park, while Otamendi, due to a sprained left knee suffered on international duty with Argentina, is undergoing treatment, gym and training with limitations on the pitch. Henrique Araújo does gym work and André Gomes does treatment and also gym work. Roger Schmidt's men will be in England until Saturday and then head to Basel, Switzerland.
