In Vila do Conde (16/03/2025), in the Rio Ave-Benfica (2-3), when he came on in the 74th minute of the match of round 26 of the Liga Betclic 2024/25, Renato Sanches made his 50th official appearance for Benfica's first team. His debut came on October 30, 2015, at the Estádio de Municipal de Aveiro, in a 0-4 win for the Reds against Tondela on matchday 9 of the 2015/16 National Championship, which the midfielder would go on to win that season, as well as the League Cup. To these trophies, the Made In Benfica center-midfielder, who won the European Championship for Portugal in 2016, added another League Cup this season. In half a hundred games (32 in the League, 10 in the Champions League and 8 in the League Cup), he scored 2 goals - against Académica and Vitória SC - both in 2015/16.
