Focused on the goal, determined to secure qualification for the Champions League group stage, Benfica was tenacious, resisted, overcame all kinds of setbacks (before and during the game) and, thanks to a memorable team effort, eliminated PSV on the night of August 24. "I am extremely proud! What you have done today, keep it for the rest of your lives; what you have done today is stoic", shared, in the dressing room, President Rui Costa, in a message to the brave men of the epic journey of Eindhoven!
