The celebration of the 38th league title at the Marquês de Pombal
The party from Estádio da Luz moved to Marquês de Pombal. The interval between the final whistle of the Benfica-Santa Clara (3-0), on Saturday, May 27, and the arrival of the players on the stage set up in Lisbon's main square was still long. When the bus carrying the Benfica team arrived, the Marquês de Pombal was already overflowing with Benfiquistas. At the epicenter of the red party, many thousands of fans celebrated in great style with the new national champions.
