In the year that Eusébio da Silva Ferreira would have celebrated his 83rd birthday, a young man with the same name carries the King's name on his back. Born in 2014 and named after the greatest figure in Benfica's history, who had left six months earlier, Eusébio da Silva Vicente, who was also brought into the world in Mozambique, is inspired by the Black Panther's legacy to make his way through Benfica's youth system. Having celebrated his 75th birthday on Sunday, April 20, Humberto Coelho received a heartfelt and well-deserved tribute on Wednesday, April 23, at the Estádio da Luz, during half-time of the Benfica-Tirsense (4-0) second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-finals. Captain for many years, he wore the Manto Sagrado for “14 fantastic seasons” and, on the pitch, he gave a special thanks to the fans. "This is more than soul, it's an extraordinary mystique! Only at Benfica can you feel this recognition and this glory and memory of having played for the best club in the world," said the former central defender.
