Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team will host Rio Ave, on Tuesday, September 23, at 8:15 pm, at Estádio da Luz, in a postponed match from the 1st round of the Liga Betclic. In preparation for this challenge, hours after the victory in Vila das Aves (0-3) against AFS and their return to Lisbon, the Reds worked at Benfica Campus, with a recovery training session for the starters. Benfica hosted Qarabag at Estádio da Luz on Tuesday night, September 16, in the first round of the Champions League. Barrenechea (6') and Pavlidis (16') scored for the Eagles, who, however, allowed a comeback, losing 2-3. See the images from the match here...

On Monday, September 15, Benfica professional football team prepared for the match against Qarabag, corresponding to Matchday 1 of the Champions League (league phase), to be played on Tuesday, September 16, at 8 pm, at Estádio da Luz.
