First victory of the in a FIFA Club World Cup! On matchday 2 of Group C, Benfica beat Auckland City (New Zeeland), by 6-0, at the Inter&Co Stadium, in Orlando. In an unusual match, which was suspended for more than two hours after the end of the first half due to a storm, Di María (45'+8' pen. and 90'+8' pen.), Pavlidis (53'), Renato Sanches (63'), and Barreiro (76' and 78') scored the goals for the Eagles, who now have a total of 4 points.
