European Under-17 champions are back in Portugal

They are players from Benfica's Youth Training, European Under-17 champions, and are already in Portugal. Daniel Banjaqui, Ricardo Neto, Mauro Furtado, José Neto, Rafael Quintas, Stevan Manuel, Gil Neves, Tomás Soares, and Anísio Cabral, members of the national team that won the European Under-17 Championship for Portugal, arrived in Lisbon on Tuesday, June 3. Speaking to BTV, the Portuguese captain and best player of the competition, Benfica's Rafael Quintas, spoke of his “pride” in bringing the trophy to Portugal and revealed that he has received “many messages” from Benfica fans. The top Portuguese scorer in the competition, with three goals, Tomás Soares said that “everyone performed at the highest level”. Ricardo Neto spoke of the “enormous responsibility” of representing Portugal. Under-23: images from the victory of the 1st Revelação Cup

Coming from a 2-0 victory in the first leg, Benfica U-23s won 2-4 at Torreense on Saturday, May 31, clinching the Revelação Cup, their first title in the competition. Tomás Cruz, Rodrigo Rêgo, who scored twice, and Jelani Trevisan scored the goals for the team led by Vítor Vinha. See here the best images of the red celebration.

Telma Monteiro's donation to the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião

An icon of Benfica and Portuguese judo, Telma Monteiro donated the kimono she wore in her last competition for the club, specifically the National Club Championship in October 2024, which earned her the women's title, to the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião. The judoka also donated the belt she wore during her last Olympic cycle. “It's the place where it makes the most sense to stay, leaving a little of my legacy, preserving my history with Benfica,” said Telma Monteiro.
