After another battle won in the Liga NOS (5-1 ãgainst Rio Ave in Matchweek 21), the Benfica squad resumed this Monday morning the preparation at Caixa Futebol Campus.

Led by Rui Vitória, the players already began working to face another opponent in the Championship, Portimonense, next Saturday, February 10th, in Algarve, in Round 22.

The benfiquista group trained without the presence of Krovinovic, who on January 20th suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament on his right knee during the match against Chaves, and Salvio, due to a patellofemoral syndrome on his right knee.

The work plain continues on Tuesday morning, at 10h00, with a new training session at Caixa Futebol Campus, behind closed doors.

On Saturday, May 17, the 1st day of the 18th edition of the event– which runs until Sunday - took place at the Estádio da Luz.
