Eusébio, José Águas and José Augusto, according to the France Football magazine, are one of the best attacking trios ever in the biggest club competition in Europe.
13 February 2018, 17h27
The competition under the control of UEFA is back with the matches from the eight-finals and the "France Football" made a collection of data in which it remembers the three attacking players of Benfica who, in 1962, won the second European Cup of the Club's history against Real Madrid (5-3).
In Amsterdam, the three players were in the starting XI, with José Águas and Eusébio – twice- putting their names on the scoring sheet. It should also be recalled that a year before, in Bern, Benfica had beat Barcelona, by 3-2.
