The European Athletics Association certified with Benfica António Leitão Race with 5 stars, an event organized by the Club and that is already in its 13th edition.

Composed of two distances – 5 k and 10 k – the Race is already considered a high-level event in terms of personal and patrimonial security and high quality services. With more and more participants, the event that pays tribute to the former athlete of the Club, António Leitão, has in the passage through the interior of Estádio da Luz as its big ex-líbris.

The 2018 edition will take place on April 8th, with the Kids Race taking place on the day before.

It should be mentioned that the security standards of the European Athletics Association work as a reference for the road running athletes all across Europe.
