Benfica is the most represented club on the U-16 team


Eight eagles were called-up for the Montaigu International Tournament.

Emílio Peixe, the U-16 national coach, called-up eight Benfica’s players for the 46th edition of the Montaigu International Tournament. The club of Luz is the most represented in the squad list.

Famana Quizera, Filipe Cruz, Henrique Pereira, Paulo Bernardo, Pedro Silva, Rafael Brito, Samuel Soares and Tomás Araújo are the youngsters called by the coach for this competition.

Portugal is going to face, in Group A, the national teams of France (March 27th), Argentina (29) and Haiti (31). The Group B is composed by Brazil, Cameroon, England and Russia.
