The Final Four of the Volleyball Portuguese Cup will have free entry to the supporters. The event will take place on the weekend of April 7 and 8, at Pavilhão Municipal de Sines, and Benfica is one of the teams that will be present.

José Jardim's men eliminated Fonte do Bastardo (3-0) on Easter Sunday and secured the presence in the semi-finals, where they will face Ac. Espinho, on April 7 at 5:30 pm.

In case of qualifying to the final, the eagles will face the winner of the game between Castêlo da Maia and Leixões on the following day, April 8 at 6:30 pm.

Benfica will try to win a trophy it already won on 16 occasions and Benfiquistas are summoned to be present in the stand to support the team.

Benfica-Tirsense: extended match highlights (4-0)

In front of almost 50,000 spectators at the Estádio da Luz, Benfica confirmed their qualification for the 2024/2025 Portuguese Cup final on Wednesday night, April 23, by beating Tirsense 4-0 in the second leg of the semi-final (goals from António Silva, Bajrami, Belotti and Barreiro). In the first game, the Eagles had won 0-5. Thus, with a 9-0 aggregate in the semi-final, the Glorioso reached the decisive match of the Portuguese Cup for the 39th time. On their way to Jamor, the Reds overcame Pevidém (0-2), Estrela da Amadora (7-0), Farense (1-3), SC Braga (1-0) and, finally, Tirsense in a two-legged tie.

A moving tribute to Humberto Coelho

Having celebrated his 75th birthday on Sunday, April 20, Humberto Coelho received a heartfelt and well-deserved tribute on Wednesday, April 23, at the Estádio da Luz, during half-time of the Benfica-Tirsense (4-0) second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-finals. Captain for many years, he wore the Manto Sagrado for “14 fantastic seasons” and, on the pitch, he gave a special thanks to the fans. "This is more than soul, it's an extraordinary mystique! Only at Benfica can you feel this recognition and this glory and memory of having played for the best club in the world," said the former central defender.
