Fernando Pimenta becomes a Long distance National Champion for the first time with Benfica

The event takes place between April 7 and 8, at the Melres river beach, in Gondomar.

The athlete of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Fernando Pimenta became a champion for the 10th time, at the 2018 Long Distance National Championship.

The canoeist of Benfica, has achieved the first trophy with the club in this competition, finishing the event with the time of: 00:21:03.21.

Special prominence to Teresa Portela, who reached the 1st place for the third time in a row, becoming a National Champion with the time of: 00:23.39.86.

The Benfica's athletes Joana Vasconcelos (00:23:42.48) and João Ribeiro (00:21:05.97) were National Vice-champions.
