The Pavilhão Municipal de Albufeira hosted, on April 7th, another edition of the Basketball All-Star Dhika. José Silva was lord and master of the three-point contest.

After the dunk contest, the Benfica forward delivered a great performance, having been crowned the new king of three points of the Liga Placard after beating Dominique Coleman (Lusitânia SC), João Guerreiro (UD Oliveirense) and his teammate Carlos Morais.

The ballot with greater participation in the history of an All-Star in Portugal led the fans of the sports to vote more than 40 thousand times in the starting 5 of the All-Star Dhika. In the Liga Placard, the most voted were the benfiquista Carlos Morais and the MVP of Final Eight of the Portuguese Cup, Jeffrey Early. In terms of the Women's League, Filipa Bernardeco (Benfica) and Inês Faustino (AD Vagos) were the players who collected more votes.

In the last two seasons, the North team beat the South by 87-85 (in 2015/16) and 97-90 (in 2016/17). This time it was a different story. The South beat the North by 106-103, in the game that closed the festivities of an All-Star Saturday.

In the team from the South, coached by José Ricardo, highlight for the performance of Carlos Morais, with 24 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 3 steals.

In the women's game, the South beat the North (73-69).
