Jonas was considered the Best Player by the 6th straight month and Best Forward; Varela won the Best Goalkeeper award and Rúben Dias the Best Defender.

With an absolutely stunning month of March, with six goals in four matches, the Brazilian got 40% of the preferences the Liga Portugal Website users and achieved, by the 6th time in a row, the awards of Best Players, leaving Ricardo Horta from SC Braga (18,3%) and his teammate, Rafa (6%) behind. The Benfica’s number 10 was also considered the Best Forward, with 48% of the votes, while Rafa, got 18%.
With no goals suffered on May, it is not surprising that the award of Best Goalkeeper was attributed to Bruno Varela. The Benfica’s keeper got 43% of the preferences, leaving Matheus from SC Braga, with 36%, and Cláudio Ramos from Tondela, with 21%, behind.
Who was also important for this record was Rúben Dias. The young player was considered the Best Defender in Liga NOS, with 42% of the votes. Raúl Silva and Miguel Vieira come right after with 38% and 20%, respectively.
The Benfica’s coach, Rui Vitória, did not win the monthly award, but he was 2nd, with 36% of the votes. Abel Ferreira (SC Braga) was the winner.
