The 14-year old players, Nuno Félix and Diogo Spencer, have signed Youth training contracts with Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

Nuno Felix

Nuno Miguel Madeira Fernandes Félix is a midfielder and is in his third season with Benfica. The 14-year old player (16.03.2004) completed a season at the “Centro de Formação e Treino do Algarve”, arriving at Caixa Futebol Campus in 2016. This season, has played 20 matches and scored one goal in the District Championships AFL.

Diogo Spencer

Diogo Filipe Spencer Marques, born on April 17, 2004 (14 years old) is a defender and is in his second season with Benfica, arriving at the club in 2016, coming from Sacavenense. This season, has played 20 matches and scored twice in the District Championships AFL.

After a day off, Benfica's professional football team trained at Waters Sportsplex in Tampa on Thursday, June 26, with their sights set on the round of 16 of the Club World Cup. In this stage of the competition, the Eagles will face Chelsea at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte at 9:00 pm in mainland Portugal (4:00 pm local time) on Saturday, June 28.
