The Benfica's players, Salvio and Raúl, are in the provisional squad of the national teams of Argentina and Mexico, respectively, for the Russia World Cup.

The national coach of Argentina, Jorge Sampaoli, has announced a provisional list of 35 players where the Benfica’s winger is included. Salvio counts, until this moment, with eight appearances. On his turn, Juan Carlos Osório has announced a provisional list of 28 and, once more, the Benfica’s striker name is there. Raúl counts with 61 caps and 13 goals for Mexico.
