João Amaral, the 26-year-old winger (07.09.1991), penned a contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica, valid for three seasons.

Born in Vila Nova de Gaia, João Amaral completed his youth training at Vilanovense and, already as a senior player, he transferred to Vitória de Setúbal in 2016/17.

With the colors of Vitória de Setúbal, the winger delivered two excellent seasons: in 2016/17, he participated in 37 official matches and scored five goals; in 2017/18, boosting his status in the team, he played 41 matches and scored nine goals.
