Football

The Swiss national coach has included the Benfica's forward in the final list for the 2018 Russia World Cup.

Here we are what we were expecting for: Seferovic, Benfica's forward, was included in the final list of 23 players, announced by Vladimir Petkovic, whom are going to represent Switzerland at the 2018 World Cup, in Russia.

Seferovic is the sixth Benfica’s professional player with a ticket to the World Cup. Rúben Dias (Portugal), Salvio (Argentina), Zivkovic (Serbia), Raúl (Mexico) and Ebuehi (Nigeria) have already been included by their respective countries. Loaned by the eagles, the Serbian Luka Jovic and the Peruvian Carrillo will also be present in Russia.

The 26-year old striker, Seferovic completed his first appearance with the Helvetian team back in February 2013, by the hands of Ottmar Hitzfeld, in a friendly match against Greece, at the time commanded by the Portuguese Fernando Santos. Last Sunday he was a starter against Spain (1-1).
