The U15 National Championship ends on Sunday with a decisive clash between Benfica and Sporting, 1st and 2nd placed respectively, at Stadium CGD Aurélio Pereira, at 11:00 am.

With 23 points in nine rounds (seven victories and two draws), the Luís Nascimento’s team is in the pole position and a draw at Alcochete will be enough to celebrate the third championship in a row and the 11th ever.

Benfica fought until the end for a different outcome in the last 16 of the Club World Cup, but after extra time they fell to Chelsea (1-4), thus ending their journey in the first edition of the competition in the United States of America. In a game that was interrupted in the 86th minute due to the threat of a thunderstorm and ended almost five hours after the kick-off, Di María leveled the score at 90'+5' (1-1), taking the match into 30 minutes of extra time, during which time the result hung in the balance for the English at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
