Teresa Portela and Joana Vasconcelos join Fernando Pimenta and won a Gold medal for Portugal in the K2 200 meters category at the European Canoeing Championships in Belgrade, in Serbia.

The canoeists from Benfica were the fastest and covered the distance in 37s055. The podium was rounded off by the Russian pair (Natalia Podolskaya and Vera Sobetova) and by the Polish pair (Dominika Wlodarczyk and Katarzyna Kolodziejczyk).
