Joana Vasconcelos (Silver), Fernando Pimenta (Silver) and Teresa Portela (Bronze) achieved places of honor in the podiums in Tarragona… and the athletes of SL Benfica have already won Five Medals.

Joana Vasconcelos was the first to take the stage and won the Silver medal in K1 500. The canoeist of SL Benfica completed the race with the time of 01.54,936 minutes, behind the Serbian Milica Starovic (01.53,637) and in front of the Slovenian Anja Osterman (01.55,650).
She was followed by Fernando Pimenta… and another Medal! The canoeist won Silver in K1 500.
The K1 1000 meters European three-time champion completed the race in 01.39,574 minutes, collecting the Silver medal, while the Gold went to the Spaniard Roi Rodriguez (01.38,881). The Frenchman Guillaume Burguer, with the time of 01.39,767 minutes rounded off the podium.
Teresa Portela took the stage next and she also won a Medal, the Bronze medal, in K1 200.
The Eagles' athlete completed the race in 00.40,504 minutes, finishing third. The Gold went to the Spaniard who has the same name, Teresa Portela (00.40,140 minutes), while the Silver medal was handed to the Frenchwoman Sarah Guyot with the time of 00.40,249 minutes.
After Melanie Santos and João Pereira won the Gold in the Triathlon on Saturday, this Sunday, Joana Vasconcelos, Fernando Pimenta and Teresa Portela continued racking up!
