Artur Moraes: “I believe in "Penta" and I'm going to support”

Artur Moraes does not forget Benfica and keeps following the Club's life, with great excitement.

“The team is the one which, without a doubt, has been showing a higher quality in the defense and it helps a lot, and helps also the goalkeepers to be successful. A great team makes a great goalkeeper", declared to Antena 1, the 36-year-old goalkeeper who played in the club between 2011 and 2015.

Looking forward… “I think that this year is going to be the same and I believe that Benfica will be ready for the first match of the season. It's going to be a strong Benfica, just like always, a big club”, he said.

“I believe in the "Penta" (five championships in a row) and I'm going to support, so that it can happen. How to achieve it? Everybody must be calm. Tranquility, safety and conviction."

"Júlio has history and lots of quality”

Artur Moraes spoke about the goalkeeper Júlio César…

“I believe that Júlio César is getting prepared, but the final decision comes from the coach. Ourselves, as goalkeepers, we always got to be ready for the call and I believe that it’s on his head, because he's a tremendous professional. Júlio's career needs no introductions.
