Pizzi: “Together, we'll work for another great season”

Moments before the second training session on the pitch of St. George’s Park, Pizzi spoke to the press. The Portuguese international is clearly motivated for the new season.

“I missed my teammates and the staff. Once more, I had a warm welcome and it's good to be back. Now, together and united, we'll work for another great season. We are going to have two friendly matches so that we can be well prepared for the Portuguese Super Cup, on August 5^th. We have to assimilate the coach's processes, mainly the new players”, he said to the journalists.

After being elected, in the last season, as the best player of Liga Nos - with ten goals and eight assists - the midfielder promises to keep working hard.

“It will be one more year and we'll give everything to win. To train at the limit, in order to help my teammates in the collective goals. Everyone knows that I've done a good season, but I'm ambitious and I want more", he assured.

“The Benfica's motivation is always the same: to win every match and all the competitions", concluded.
