The Captain, Valter Neves, has extended his contract (one more year) with Sport Lisboa e Benfica. 14 years with the eagle on the chest.

“Yes, I'm going to my 14th season, it's a lifetime. I lived good moments and I obviously remember the moment when I came here. It has been a big evolution. I've been noticing it in the department, a very positive evolution and now my goal is to keep working and winning trophies with the Club”, he declared to BTV.

“I want to thank Benfica for the trust. Therefore, I'm thankful and proud for being able to keep fighting for the Club's objectives.", recognized.

A long weekend with a 100 percent winning record in the pavilions of the Estádio da Luz Sports Complex, with triumphs in the 10 matches played by the various Benfica teams in the Club's different indoor sports.
