Pep Guardiola praises Bernardo Silva again, the Portuguese international midfielder transferred from Monaco to Manchester City.

“I'm very grateful. Thanks to the club for hiring him”, said the coach of Manchester City about the 22-year-old player, Made in Benfica, where he played between 2002/03 and 2013/14.

“He's a boy who loves football, who thinks the game 24 hours a day. I like that. He's very humble and intelligent, which is a great quality”, said Pep.

After the presence in the Confederations Cup with the national team, the midfielder has played the first match with the blue jersey, a friendly-match against West Ham, getting in at minute 59.

“He has played the first minutes and he shown that he was immediately ready to play. The intelligent players don't need time to understand our game", he concluded.
