The coach of the Benfica's futsal team praised the organization of the Record Masters Cup and his own players, after two draws against Barcelona and Inter Movistar.

“Three days of excellency in Portimão, starting by the organization, absolutely remarkable. We are completely satisfied. The Portimão Arena managed to get dressed in red and white, twice (!!), which is great. Excellent atmosphere!", he said to BTV.

The coach also appreciated the team's performance which leaves good perspectives for the clash against Sporting CP, for the Portuguese Super Cup: “We had 80 minutes of a competitive Benfica, intense and with quality. What we've done here is the minimum we should perform next Saturday", he concluded.

It was with a thrilling  3-4 victory over Sporting in Game 5 of the Liga Placard play-off final that Benfica won back the competition on Sunday, June 29, at the João Rocha Pavilion - after also winning Game 1 (4-4; 3-4 ap) and Game 4 (7-5 aet) of the competition.
