Rui Vitória: “We got to put our qualities on the field”

Benfica hosts, this Friday, the Portimonense, Matchday 5 of Liga NOS.

"First things first, it's a great pleasure to play against Portimonense. I expect to win the match, but it will be hard and complicated. Portimonense has an organized team, with youngsters and good players. We are aware of their real value and we have to put our qualities on the field", said Rui Vitória, at the Press Conference.

In relation to the last days of the market window, the coach assumes to be satisfied with the squad. “It's the life of a team like us, not only our life but the life of the great majority of the European teams. It's a part of the dynamic. I'm satisfied with the arrivals, Gabriel just arrived. Mitroglou left because that's the way it is. The things were ready for this, in case of any changing. They are not the same. Even their physiognomy is different. Now it's up to us to potentiate the players. All the players are important", he assured.

"We are not going to individualize because there are more new players. In accordance with the composition for tomorrow, I can guarantee that Gabigol is a part of the list, but both Svilar and Douglas are out. I'm satisfied with the players I have and we are ready", explained the coach.

"Tomorrow there will be on the pitch the ones who will be the best prepared".
